Review Tuesday: Tripcraft 6 Inch Waterproof Case Dry Bag Cell Phone Pouch

Tripcraft 6 Inch Waterproof Case Dry Bag Cell Phone Pouch

A couple months ago Mrs Bax0jayz and I were in Cancun and we were watching the guys sell these camera cases on the beach. We commented on how they would be useful, but never bothered to get one. The opportunity to test one out in a sponsored trial came up, so I couldn't resist.

The package comes with the pouch, a lanyard, and instructions.

It's a simple enough device. You pop open the clips, open the pouch, drop your phone in, seal the pouch. DONE.

I tested this with my wife's iPhone 5s and it fit in easily and operated perfectly. I can see this working well to keep all manner of debris away from your phone as well as water. I wasn't brave enough to test how air-tight it is with a phone within, but did plunge it under water while it was empty and nothing got in.

In the end, it's great protection for your phone at a very reasonable price. It pays for itself with peace of mind the first time you go to the beach for sure. Highly recommended.
