Review Tuesday: TeckNet 2.4G Mini Portable Mobile Wireless Optical Mouse with USB Nano Receiver

TeckNet 2.4G Mini Portable Mobile Wireless Optical Mouse
with USB Nano Receiver

More tech to review. I have tested out several devices from TECKNET over the years, so here's another. The TeckNet 2.4G Mini Portable Mobile Wireless Optical Mouse with USB Nano Receiver comes in "Certified Frustration-Free Packaging" which means it comes in a sturdy cardboard box instead of those indestructible plastic bubble packages. Right off the bat we're doing well! Then you open the box to find the mouse, which is neatly embraced in bubble-wrap, and instructions.  I popped open the mouse to find the USB Nano Receiver and the holder that requires a single AA battery for operation.

I used this with a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10 OS.

This mouse is called a mini / portable mouse but it's not very small. It's just smaller than your usual full sized mice. It's not tiny, I should say, but it's still a good size that it's not lost in your palm. The buttons click with almost a snap, so you know it's doing it's job. The scroll works perfectly as well. All this and no new drivers were required, nor were any changes to system settings.

Open the box and take out the mouse. Open mouse, take out receiver and insert AA battery. You're off and running. All this at a very reasonable price. You couldn't ask for more.
