2. The quality or state of being precipitant.

3. Precipitancies, hasty or rash acts.

Precipitancy comes from the Latin word praecipitāre meaning "to cast down headlong."

 

Kinderstruck

• The stricking feeling one gets of childhood nostalgia. Remembering something from childhood with longing.

I opened the book ten years later kinderstruck by the memories of road trips with my parents.

She stood kinderstruck by the sight of her old elementary school, much less extravagent than she remembered.
