Review Tuesday: Coherence (2013)

Coherence

When a group of friends assemble for dinner while a comet passes closely by the Earth, strange things happen.

Another evening we decided to watch something of the Fire Stick and Mrs. Bax0jayz selected this. 

So a group of mostly insufferably annoying people get together for dinner when the power goes out. It happens to be during the pass of a comet coming close to the Earth. A bunch of weird things go on and there appears to be something of a time-paradox going on. Several different time lines are all interfering with each-other and you are having trouble caring. It's easier to follow than it is to like the cast. 

The concepts behind the movie are thought-provoking but the characters kinda prevent you from caring about their plight. Still interesting to watch as the layers reveal themselves.
