I can't say I feel any different about this day of infamy than I did in the past, so I will quote myself, with a some edits:

I've been thinking for days about what I might write for the anniversary of the terror attacks on the United States carried out by Al Qaida. Would I mention, again, what I was doing when it happened? How I felt listening to the news? How it struck me? How I personally felt loss for all those lives lost? How I was devastated by the senseless violence of it all? How it still depresses me to see any image of the World trade Center?

These are all topics I've touched on over the years I've been writing this blog. I don't even think my tale is all too interesting nor extraordinary. But what I do know is that the pain is still real. The memory is still strong. We will NEVER forget. Osama Bin Laden asked for a war. We've brought it to him. Now he's paid the price for his brand of evil. Good riddance.

Almost twenty years have past since that day. The hole in the ground that used to be called Ground Zero is now, once again, being called the World Trade Center. The building that has been called The Freedom Building (1776 feet high!) was renamed WTC 1. Not sure how I feel about that one, but we're clearly moving forward. Forward does not mean we're forgetting. 9/11/2001 was this generation's Pearl Harbor. I'll never forget, but the SJW snowflakes will probably call that racist. What has this world come to?

 

After the events of 9/11 the motto in NYC was NEVER FORGET. It appears that we did because the local and state elected  politicians are a bunch of America haters, especially the Mayor of NYC who downplays the role Islam played regarding the events of that horrific day. NYC sold its soul for the promise of free shit.

There are 8 levels of control that must be obtained before you are able to create a socialist state. The first is the most important.

1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people

2) Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income)

6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.

8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (Tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Under the guise of "social justice" groups like BLM and ANTIFA are domestic terror groups looking to tear out the fabric of the USA and form a socialist nation. They are vile, disgusting and ill-informed. Terrorists don't need to attack American interests anymore, we have our own home-grown terror groups doing it for them. (Sort of like how the Communist Party gave up since the Democrat Party took over their platform...) President Biden bungled the withdrawal of American Forces from Afghanistan, leaving our people out there in danger and handing over billions in military equipment to the enemy. Yeah. This is going really well...

Columbus Day 2022

Usually for Columbus Day I go on my usual rant asking the question, why is this considered a day of Italian heritage? The Italians wouldn't back the expedition that Columbus proposed. He had to turn to Spain to get his trip going. So shouldn't we be celebrating the Spanish for their cleverness in backing this man and his notion of traveling West to get to the East? The Italians did NOTHING for him.

It's also brought up that we shouldn't celebrate anything for Columbus because he didn't discover anything. The Vikings had visited "The New World" centuries earlier. Yeah, they did, and there were no permanent settlements and the knowledge was lost to Europeans for years. Once Columbus discovered land and the possibilities it possessed, there was a new race to stake claims in the New World. He provided us with a reason to move on from Europe. 

But lately I have been reading some very unsettling messages. We shouldn't celebrate Christopher Columbus Day because he is the single biggest perpetrator of crimes against humanity the world has ever known. To me, this claim is off base. We are in the process of rewriting history now. Somehow we expect people hundreds of years ago to be on the same wavelength that, really, only a few of us are on today. To this day, there is still slavery, genocide and mass murder around the world, yet no one will say or do anything about it. We can't tell the Middle East what to do, but Columbus should've known better? And, yes, I am well aware of the notes and letters Columbus had written about how easily enslaved the natives would be and the terrible things inflicted upon them directly as a result of his occupation. Similar atrocities were commonplace all over the world in those days. Slavery wasn't new at that time and was never pretty.

The truth is humanity is always evolving. Many cultures have grown and progressed since the dark times that found slavery a perfectly fine industrial model and inequality among the races and sexes perfectly acceptable. What I find unacceptable is blaming important historical figures for things that we now see as unjust. 

Now can we celebrate a holiday for a man who, effectively, doubled the size of this planet for mankind?

Here's an example of "poetic justice". When I was in college, I drove to school one day, and pulled into a space in this one parking lot. I was in a hurry, and there was only this space and the one to the left available. Before I got out of the car, someone pulled in to the spot on my left, 4 INCHES from my drivers door. I couldn't get out of the car. I had to climb over into the passenger seat to get out. I was furious, and I hurried after the girl to have a word with her. I glanced back at the cars to make sure they really were that close, and I noticed her headlights were on. This was before cars had automatic headlights. Feeling much better, I followed her all the way up to campus, AND I NEVER TOLD HER HER HEADLIGHTS WERE ON.

"V-J" Day, 2020

I'm not a fan of the name V-J day. It was the Victory over Japan. Those cowardly bastards sneak attacked Pearl Harbor and were willing to fight to the last man to advance their imperialism of the Pacific. 

So President Truman figured, To the last man, huh? and evaporated two Japanese cities in atomic mushroom clouds. Had he not done that thousands, tens of thousands, maybe HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of American soldiers would've died in continued fighting in the Pacific. It was a hard decision, but the RIGHT decision to bring the war to a fast end. Victory over the aggressions of Japan. 

 

In this day and age of SJW snowflakes, people are trying to make the USA out as being teh true villains for WW2. To those people I offer a solid GO FUCK YOURSELF and your odd rewriting of history you America hating scumbags!
