Tops at the Box Office

1. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
2. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
3. Public Enemies
4. The Proposal
5. The Hangover

At this point, Transformers and Ice Age are too close to call a winner. In that case I call both the loser. These new animated movies are like box office gold and the fact that it didn't overwhelm, to me, indicates failure. And don't think I'm geeking out and siding with Transformers. With the huge take from last weekend, I really expected it to do way better. The fact that they are tied at $42.5 mill shows that audiences are unimpressed at this point.
