Inverta: Vocalist Wanted!

The group of professional musicians, Inverta, former known as The Thread are currently taking serious digital resumes for the frontperson position. The LA based band has qualifications and requirements posted on their myspace blog for any experienced male or female vocalist who is looking for a serious band, not just to join, but to contribute within fully.

In a search that has included over 600 applicants, 100 try outs, and even times when the band has flown perspective singers to LA for a trial run, the members of Inverta have had the opportunity to really home in on what they do and don’t want in a front person.

The songs remain unnamed, without lyrics, waiting for the person to step in who will not just fill the role of singer, but become that missing part of Inverta. The right person is looking for their ‘forever home’, not just a gig. They have set out to create the band none of it’s members will ever want to leave.

Inverta performs a style that is semi-noir and has been described as a melodically-charged, multi-layered, fusion of hard rock and progressive/alternative metal. This album-oriented band puts emphasis on their conceptual songs by loosely arranging polyrhythmic odd-timed signatures, placed comfortably within subtly-deep melodic overtones. If you not only know what that means, but think it sounds like someone is talking about you, this could be the opportunity of a lifetime.

Already having secured management and publicity and having heavy industry connections, Inverta is poised to move quickly once all members are in place.
