Katy Perry TV Takeover

Katy Perry rocked the iconic SNL stage on Saturday night with performances of her chart topping singles "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream." Katy also showed off her inner comedian appearing in a digital short and a Bronx Beat skit where she poked fun at the recent Sesame Street controversy with Elmo.

Katy's whirlwind career and road to releasing Teenage Dream was profiled on CBS Sunday Morning by news correspondent Anthony Mason. They traveled to her hometown of Santa Barbara and discussed the evolution of Katy Hudson to the envelope-pushing Katy Perry that fans all know today.

Finally, Katy appeared on Extreme Makeover Home Edition Sunday night where she gave the Girls Hope Scholars some words of encouragement while they visited Hollywood. Fast forward to the 31:30 mark to see her help design a bedroom for the girls inspired by the "California Gurls" video as a reminder that life is sweet. For the big Katy-designed bedroom reveal go to 31:55 in part 2 of the episode.

All this work she's acquiring WILL NOT help as far as my "Katy Perry Must Become Destitute And Pose Nude" plan goes, Damnit !!

I had the same hopes. Maybe she'd need to do one on one interviews with bloggers like me over dinner and drinks. Looks like that pipe-dream will never happen! LOL
