The new kid flick, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA beat all expectations and overcome bad reviews to handily secure the #1 spot. LOOPER, called the most original sci-fi movie since The Matrix, took the #2 spot with a respectable $21.2 mill. I'm expecting TAKEN 2 to trounce everything this weekend. We'll see.
