Client of the day: 04/02/2014

A lady just walked in. 

I prepared her tax returns recently. I was impressed that she gave $200,000 to various charities around the NYC area and felt my faith in humanity being restored. However, when she came in, she's an insufferably miserable and rude old hag. 

It made me wonder how that happens? 

Benevolent to charities but terrible to other people? 

I don't get it.
