Review Tuesday: THE TICK, Season 2

THE TICK
Season 2
The Tick and Arthur continue to fight evil, although the lines between good and evil are easily blurred.
After the events of the outstanding first season on THE TICK, the second season picks up from when things let off, with a multi-tier story arc.
  1. The Tick and Arthur
  2. The return of AEGIS to The City.
  3. The Lobstercules saga.
  4. Miss Lint becomes the hero Joan of Arc.
  5. Dot discovers her own super power while developing a romance with Overkill.
  6. The story of Walter.
  7. Superian has a melt down.
And much much more, all squeezed into TEN episodes.

I don't even know where to begin. The show is excellent. Everything is developed so well, and the way all the stories seem to perfectly fit into the grand scheme of things, plus the extraordinary cast and excellent writing. This isn't a goofy spoofy super hero show, well, yes it is, but it's taken seriously at the same time to make it far more enjoyable. Watching The Tick and Arthur unravel a situation to solve the case. Watching as Dot learn about her own super-powers and develop them while being insanely sexy on screen. The evolution of Danger Boat. The back story of Overkill. Miss Lint struggles with her own inner demons as she appears to switch sides and becomes a hero.

It was all SO GOOD and no minute on screen was a waste. All meat, no filler. I simply adored this season and couldn't wait for Season 3 after the cliffhanger. However AMAZON already announced that they were cancelling the series before I even got to watch it. So with a heavy heart I have to say, watch the two season and have a good time, but we won't be getting anymore.
