HEREDITARY
Stranger than usual things occur for a dysfunctional family after the passing of the grandmother.
One night Mrs. Bax0jayz was trying to find a horror movie to watch on the Amazon Firestick and selected this. It sounded interested in the description and it was rated R so she thought it should be entertaining.
After the death of Ellen, Annie's family seems to descend into some sort of slow paced and boring hell. Weird things occur. The problem, to me, is that the entire family is so repellent that I never even cared about their plight. The creepy daughter does freaky things. The son is an asshole. The father is distant. The mother, Annie (played by Toni Colletti) is a stressed out psycho. I found myself sitting there for over two hours watching this movie and not caring about anything.
I was bored and thoroughly unimpressed with this movie.
