Review Tuesday: Fear The Walking Dead: Season 5

Fear The Walking Dead
Season 5
Our core of survivors mission is to find, save, round up other survivors to form a new community. Of course new enemies are made along the way.
After the events of Season 4, I was excited to see where FTWD would go next. Much to my chagrin, they decided to go back in some dull direction that has me hating almost the entire cast again. It starts off with our survivors IN A PLANE trying to find ONE other survivor. Of course, while they are off their home base, the real owner comes back and reclaims it. There is an entire story-line there that might have been interesting to develop further, but was ignored. But hey had a PLANE and used it to fly over a dumb mountain to try to save someone. Come on?!

The children storyline attached to the nuclear power plant meltdown was a let down. The introduction of some sort of well-supplied Army was left as a cliff hanger. I can only hope they will show up in the future.

The new villain, Virginia comes off as weak writing. Kinda like a female Governor. Yawn.

Of course teh season ended with our group of survivors being separated and sent off in various directions and Morgan left to die in a ghost town. Alicia wasn't looking sexy for most of the season and Luciana wasn't even IN most of the season. I am not even sure if I care what happens next.
