A timely book on how to make protective masks.

In the current COVID-19 world we live in, medical masks aren't only becoming the new normal, in some places, like my own NYS, it's required by law in public. But what do you do when masks are difficult to find or no longer available through usual channels? Some are resorting to other improvised methods, while others are making their own. 

This book concentrates on the how and why about making your masks. Since I was offered a free review copy in exchange for an honest review, I wanted to give this book some of my attention. 

At only 26 pages, this is a quick read, as you might imagine. The pages dedicated to actually making your own masks details what sorts or fabric are best, how much you need, and how to go about making it. The pages also go into the history of the medical mask (starting with the infamous plague doctor masks) and brings you up to date with statistics on effectiveness of modern masks, even home-made ones. 

In all, I would call this book very informative and worthwhile.
