BLAZING SADDLES
When a developer finds out that the railroad will be going through a backwater town, he hatches a plan to buy all the land cheap.
Mrs Baxojayz loves comedy, and had never seen the Mel Brooks classic BLAZING SADDLES. In a day and age of virtue signaling and political correctness, I felt she NEEDED to see this amazing satirical film.

What can I say in a review of a comedy classic like this movie? I enjoyed it thoroughly. The humor coupled with social commentary makes this movie relevant to this day. Between the cast and the script, this movie was a darling. I must say there are several scenes that seem outdated and might not even make sense to people who don't remember television and cinema from the 1970s and earlier. On that note, after the movie was over I was beaming and was filled with joy and mirth with all the nostalgia this had brought back to me. The wife, on the other hand, said it had some good scenes, but she was having trouble keeping awake through it.

If you enjoy some good old fashioned, fearless comedy, I highly recommend [re]acquainting yourself with Mel Brooks and BLAZING SADDLES.
