Review Tuesday: Lost Child (2017)

Lost Child
(2017)
Superstitious locals are afraid of an orphan.
How my friend came up with this one? I am not sure, but we watched it.

A vet comes home to her deep south town. People weren't very welcoming. Her mother is dead. Her brother is an addict. A mysterious boy walks onto her property. From that point on the town goes nuts because there is an old superstition about a boy who comes out of the woods, but is a demon to ruin lives. So the town freaks out over the boy.

The movie had a lot of issues. There seemed to be lots of continuity errors, enough to be distracting. Plus after a while you got the feeling that this whole thing was some Hollywood smart-ass writing about what they thought life in a small southern town must be like. The ending wasn't satisfying. Overall, the entire movie wasn't a very enjoyable experience. I think it's one of those free-to-watch Amazon or Tubi movies, but even the hot chick who is the star isn't worth the investment of time.
