When a pedophile photographer thinks he's picking up some under-aged cock-tease, he finds that he's in way over his head.

One night my BFF asked if I felt like watching something FUBAR. Cautiously I agreed as I can never tell what she might come up with. It was this thriller from 2005.

 

Jeff Kohlver (Patrick Wilson) is a man with a taste for the forbidden fruit: under-aged girls. He thinks he has his next mark lined up with a girl named Hayley Stark he met in a chat room. They arrange for a hook-up that he would regret for the rest of his life. The rest of the movie is about how Hayley springs a trap on Jeff that he never expected.

One of the fun things about this movie is this stars Ellen Page as Hayley Stark before she became Elliot Page. She plays the roll of jail-bait seductress turned mastermind strategist expertly. I am used to Patrick Wilson playing those wholesome roles in The Conjuring franchise, so it's pretty jarring to see him as act effectively as a child predator. A thrilling adrenaline ride! Worth your time to watch.
