Review Tuesday: After.Life (2009)

After.Life

(2009)

A woman's journey after her death. Or is it?

This was a suggestion from Mrs. Bax0jayz. She said it looked creepy so we gave it a go.

After getting into a car accident Anna Taylor (Christina Ricci) finds herself in a funeral parlor. Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson) assures her that she's quite dead and that he has a gift to be able to communicate with people while they are between realms.

The rest of the movie is a journey that the viewer must figure out when exactly is going on. Is Anna truly dead? Is there something much more insidious going on?

The movie is very clever and its watchability is only made easier by how frequent Christina Ricci is nude. If that's a selling point for you, give this a view. If you like movies that mess with your mind? Then this is STILL something for you to watch. I recommend it.
