Review Tuesday: Hell House LLC: Lineage 2025

Hell House LLC: Lineage | Ad-Free and Uncut | SHUDDER

Hell House LLC
Lineage
2025
The victims in the previous four movies had something in common.
Years ago we watched the first HELL HOUSE LLC movie on amazon and were thrilled to notice that it was filmed at the Waldorf Estate of Fear in the Poconos that we have gone to. As a result, we really embraced the franchise. Earlier this year we heard that they actually were producing a film that would be in theaters, so we were intrigued. Unfortunately, it was an extremely limited release and wasn't available at any nearby theater so we had to wait until it was released on SHUDDER last week.

After the events of the Carmichael Manner there has been an uptick in strange occurrences in and around Abaddon, NY -- people seeing things, suicides, unexplained phenomena. The trouble is that most people think it's just a coincidence but never notice the pattern. Apparently this goes back to the previous movie. The accident. It set off a chain of events that's still going on to this day.

The movie clocks in at nearly two hours. It's nicely polished. There are some good jump scares. However, it was more interesting than thrilling, exciting, and scary. Nothing was resolved. It just ended and left the viewer feeling empty. I am guessing that they must be planning a follow-up for this film, but I was under the impression that this was supposed to be the finale. At any rate, this movie would only be good for fans of HELL HOUSE LLC, and even fans should feel disappointed after this movie.
