Double Blind
2023
A group of losers are hired for a double blind pharmaceutical test.
This was a random film selected by my BFF. It's classified as a horror / thriller so why not?
Claire (Millie Brady) is brought together with a rag-tag group of others selected for a double blind test of some new pharmaceutical. When the meds seem to be having some ill-effects, things start going crazy, and the testers start dying off.
The trouble is that this is ANOTHER movie that the victims are all poor excuses for humans and you really don't care what befalls them. So, at the end, I shrugged and said MEH.
The movie is well made. The acting is fine. The characters are shitty. It's watchable, but not rewarding.
