When a new artificial person goes on a killing spree, M3GAN needs to be recreated to combat her. 

Honestly, I didn't care for M3GAN all that much so when M3GAN 2.0 came out, the ad campaign looked pretty dumb and convinced me not to bother with it. However my BFF wanted to see it, so there went my plan. 

 

After the events of M3GAN Gemma (Allison Williams) is an advocate against AI and personal electronics. While she's making her stand the government is experimenting with an assassin-bot that predictably goes out of control and starts a killing binge. She travels around killing everyone involved in her creation. Previously M3GAN had uploaded her consciousness into the ether and she has various capabilities even without a body. However, with the threat of this new bot AMELIA (deliciously played by Ivanna Sakhno) M3GAN IS going to need a body to combat her and protect Cady (Violet McGraw). 

 

The first movie leaned more towards horror. This movie is more of an action / comedy. And it's really predictable. I knew it would be, but WOW they could've put a little more effort into the story. That aside, it's perfectly watchable and kinda fun, but you will know every step in the movie.
