My wife loves throwing all the snow from the sidewalk and driveway out into the street. I've always asked her not to do that. I know there are laws about not doing that in some areas, although I'm not sure about my neighborhood. But her parents do it so that no one will park in front of their house, so she does it too.
Over the weekend she shoveled the sidewalk while I cleared the driveway. She removed every snowflake and dumped it all into the street. Five minutes after we went in the house the snow plow came barrelling by and pushed all the snow back up onto the sidewalk, making it WORSE than it was before we shoveled. She had a fit. But it's a learning experience.
Moral of the story: Bob knows.

Be careful where you throw that snow
