New Year's 2005

For the first time in a long time, maybe even ever, my wife and I went out for NEw Year's Eve. We decided to visit a client of mine, Bill at David Copperfield's House of Beer on 74th Street and York Avenue in NYC.

We got there by 8:00 and sat down to have a long relaxing dinner and wait for the countdown.

It was pretty much as expected. Good food. Cold beer. As time ticked by DC filled up more and more. About 11:30 I decided to hit the bathroom to be ready for last minute 2004 boozing. So while I'm standing there taking care of business some guy comed running in and projectile vomits into the sink. I finished up and this guy was STILL at it. As I left this dude was STILL SPEWING. Then I go to the stair to head back to the main dining room and this guy left a trail of blown chunks all the way down the stairs and into the bathroom. How much of what did this guy consume in order to leave a trail like that, and to be barfing so endlessly as he did? Well, Happy New Year, doofus. You're off to a good start.

That aside, the NY weather was nice and warm. Mrs Baxojayz was gorgeous and we shared a loving kiss and embrace to welcome in 2005. Cheers!
