Best Big Name Cover Bands

I love hearing bands I like covering other bands I like. Hell, I love hearing covers of songs I don't even like.

But bands that have really distinguished themselves are Korn and Marilyn Manson.

In about the last year Korn has covered Metallica, Pink Floyd, and Cameo. Pretty diverse choices. And each done extremely well.

Marilyn Manson has covered a lot of tunes over the years. They made their first big splash with a Eurythmics cover. I didn't lke that one, but they've done good ones since then like Soft Cell, Deftones, and Depeche Mode.

Static X covered Black Sabbath, Ramones and Ministry very well.

But I think I'd really like to hear a nice industrial cover of I Touch Myself by the DiVinyls. ;)
