What color is Godzilla?

Last night I started painting my Super Deformed Godzilla cast in vinyl. I've had the kit for years and finally decided to finish it off.

The question is, what color is he exactly?

Obviously his color has variations from one movie to the next, but what is the generally accepted Godzilla scheme?

After pouring over the internet for about 30 minutes I've come to a couple conclusions. On film Godzilla APPEARS to be a dark blue-gray. However in all artwork and models and photos of the actual suits the giant atmoic lizard appears to be a dark green.

There you have it. I'm going with a dark green, and I'm still deciding whether to go with a tan-ish belly. He usually didn't have that, so I may or may-not do that.
