Greece is fatter than the US

This is from the front page of today's NY Metro:

The following countries have higher than the US's obese male percentage of 67:
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Finland
Germany
Greece
Malta
Slovakia

In Greece, 38% of women are obese, compared to 34% in the US.

From 1998 - 2003 France's obesity level went up by 3% (11.3 for men, 11.4 for women).

Greece's obesity levels passed those of the US, making it the fattest country.
