Gwen Stefani on SNL 03/19/05

Okay, it's nearly a week late, but hey, I want to get this down. Last weekend Gwen Stefani performed on Saturday Night Live.

First she performed the current single "Rich Girl" with Eve. Both are very lovely women. In fact, with the two of them together I was finding Eve looking much hotter of the two. Interesting fact of the day: Prior to her singing career Eve was a stripper! Hmm. I wish I coud've seen that.

But I digress.

They performed very well. Gwen's voice was perfect, Eve's voice was a little huskier than the record, but still very nice. Gwen was wearing some really strange pants. They were skin tight, but went all the way up to her navel. They were reminiscent of old folks-ware that go up to the armpits. Whatever. Good performance.

Later Gwen came out and performed "Holla Back Girl" accompanied by a marching band. She was wearing only a basketball jersey and tiny shorts that didn't even peek out below the shirt. That girl's got legs. I wonder why she kept them covered for so many years? Her singing was perfect, but strangely enough she said "shit" twice during the song. On the album she does, and I guess she forgot she was on TV and sang it by accident, as she made a concerted effort NOT to say "shit" for the rest of the song.

So in closing, she's one hot honey and can belt out a tune. I'm not sure if I would catch a show if she comes to town, I've seen No Doubt in the past, but I'm sure it'll be a good show.
