I must be a complete idiot

About a week ago I started feeling the first signs of a cold setting in. So I sucked down some Airborne and took a shot of Buckley's and went to sleep. A week has gone by and I still have a little bit of a nagging cough and a little stuffiness.

What did I do wrong?

Previously I took Airborne until there was nothing left of the cold.This time I only took it until the major symptoms went away: the aches and pains. So now I've been getting little sleep and not building up my immune system and this damned cold is making a comeback.

Tonight I wanted to get to sleep early, but Dante has a late appointment with the vet. Maybe I can call it a night ealry and go to sleep by 10:30. I really want to have this over with within the next couple days.

And if I figure out who passed this cold to me, they'll be in the Emergency Room having my shoe removed from up in their ass.
