Movie Review: Sin City

Sin City. One HELL of a movie. In a day and age when movies are usually 90 minutes, Sin City is 124 minutes of star studded pure entertainment.

The movie is essentially three stories with overlapping characters and locations. Since it's a movie based on comic books, they went all out keeping the comic book feel in there. Compelling to say the least. The droves of nude to semi-nude broads didn't hurt the movie either. How can it be Sin City without scantily clad honeys?

The movie was extremely violent. That's what brought in the R rating more than the nudity. You show a a couple dismemberments and decapitations and the shock of boobies pales in comparison.

I think the movie started off slightly slow but picked up quickly and kept my attention throughout.

My wife became bored with it and wouldn't recommend it. She called it a "guy's movie." I think I might agree, but that may be why I liked it.
