The brothers who brought David Copperfield's to the Upper East Side,
the same brothers who brought us Brewtopia
have now added The Hop Devil Grill to their list of accomplishments. They don't have a website up yet, but some details can be found here:

Located on 129 St. Marks Place (between First Ave. & Ave. A) in NYC, this time they chose a really happening location for their endeavor. I had the opportunity to check out the place when they first acquired it. Previously it was Stingy Lulu's, a greasy spoon diner. But now that they've worked their magic, and utilized Bill's construction skills and opened up a new beer haven. At this moment half of the location is fully operational. You can sit down, have some great eats and outstanding beer. I had several beers and a burger with fries. Everything was delightful on the palette.
Within about another week the other half of the floor should be fully functional: a Belgian Beer Bar. That side already looks great, they just have to finish off the tables and open the doors.
If you're down in that section of the village I highly recommend dropping in. Let the manager know that Bob sent you, and make sure you order something with fries... they are TOO good there!
