Everyone loves a parade

Well not really. In New York the Puerto Rican Day Parade will be taking place this weekend. It's been going on for years. A couple years ago a bunch of scoundrels make a mockery of it. The got extra drunk, and they went around videotaping themselves assaulting women. Ever since then it's been considered "the most dangerous parade in New York."

That's what gets me upset. For DECADES the St. Patrick's Day Parade has been the epitome of violence and poor behavior. Drunken minors. Scores of fights. Broken bottles. Vomit and blood all over the Upper East Side. There's been MANY DEATHS at that Parade, but now the only dangerous parade is the Puerto Rican one? Seems like selective memory to me.
Nothing happened last year, but I'm interested to see what happens this year.
