Let there be light

I've been back from vacation for weeks. From the time I got back I noticed that half the lights over my desk weren't working at all. For some reason they decide to start flickering today. A little dimness is fine, but the flashing of flourescents is quite beyond annoying. In less than a minute I had the fixture apart and a new bulb in place. Now it's freaky bright over here... like a hospital.
