I didn't watch these in proper order. I caught a bootleg from the Park Lady when Blade 3 (Trinity) came out. Friends have been suggesting Blade for years, so I gave it a shot...
Blade 3: Trinity (2004)
The concept of this latest addition to the series, Vampires awaken an ancient among their kind. He goes by many names, but is the blood drinker that the Dracula mystique is supposedly based upon. This mad-diesel, bad-ass concept of Drac coupled with a couple young 'uns to assist Blade make the movie VERY entertaining. The yummy Jessica Biel alone makes the movie worth seeing, but with all the action and all the goodies that the Blade films are known for, it made for a good picture. I know I'll rent it some time soon.

The starter for the series. It was pretty fun to watch, but was the weakest of the trilogy. I just couldn't get into the whole thing with Dorff's character Frost. He just was unimpressive. Using sunblock to go out in daylight seemed way too cliche. I liked Kris Kristofferson as Whistler, but felt he was written off too soon. The woman doctor seemed a little too strong for someone who had nothing to do with this vampire scene until a charred vamp ended up on her coroners table. There were great special effects and fights. Fun to watch - certainly. Good movie? Hardly.

I liked this one best of all three. Some vampire hybrid is transforming / destroying the vampire world as it's known. The vampires ask for a truce with Blade to put this menace down. Blade teams up with a special task force of blood drinkers to take of business. The villains in this movie were truly vicious and fun to watch. Great special effects. Great battles. A lot of fun to watch as the conspiracies unravel. Highly recommended!
