WCBS FM 101.1 dumps oldies

Since 1972 CBS 101.1 in NY has been the oldies station in NY. Last Friday Infinity Broadcasting canceled the format and switched over to Jack Radio. Essentially they will be playing music from the 70's thru recent times. It wasn't the ratings that were the problem, they were rated #8 in NYC. But the age range of the listeners were wrong. They wanted the younger demos.

That was my Father's favorite station and now it's gone.
