Crappy contractor

The building where I work always hires the same painter to handle plaster and painting issues in the building. The paint on the ceiling of the lobby has been peeling in sheets now for a couple years, so they called him in as usual. He peeled up the loose paint then compounded the low areas and repainted the ceiling a day later.

And another day later all those patches split and began peeling. He used "joint compound" to fill in the low spots, which really needs more dry time than he allowed. A stupid mistake. So now the lobby is freshly painted with all the same spots of peeling paint. Bravo! Wonderful work! A job to be proud of!
