Peter Jennings dead at 67

On Sunday, August 7th, 2005, icon of American news, Peter Jennings lost his battle with cancer. He announced in April his affliction with Lung Cancer which he attibuted to a lifetime of smoking. Jennings was 67 and is survived by his wife, Kayce Freed, and his two children, Elizabeth, 25, and Christopher, 23.
