Artist of the day

I think I'm going to start this up. Every so often I get some artist in my mind. It could be a painting, music, whatever. They might amuse me, entertain me, provoke me, but will certainly affect me in some way.

Today's artist is BUCKETHEAD, aka Death Cube K, aka Brian Carroll. The first time I ever saw Buckethead perform was with Primus. He walked out on stage when beckoned by Les Claypool. His step was like a Frankenstein monster. Once he made the trek to the center of the stage Buckethead proceeded to rip a guitar solo that was simply amazing. Once done, the tall skinny guitarist wearing a Michael Myers mask and an empty bucket from KFC on his head walked off awkwardly. More recently he's been touring as a guitarist for Guns N Roses. I hear that sometimes he goes without the mask and bucket. He's known now. He doesn't really need the angle.
