The first time we saw a trailor for this movie my wife died laughing. The character "Victor" voiced by Johnny Depp looks like the man behind the voice. That alone made it a "must see" for my wife.
It was a cold and stormy night that we ventured out and saw this film. We've been enjoying the theater on Hempstead Turnpike, past Levittown lately. It's usually pretty quiet and better parking conditions.
I must say, the movie wasn't what I expected. Nonetheless I found it entertaining. It kept my attention through it's hour and a half. The animation was seamless and shockingly good.
I think for this time of year, this is an ideal light film. Charming.

Since your wife died laughing, does that also make her a Corpse Bride?
That's clever.
I did tell her after the movie that with the way they shaped the brides faces and the big eyes, and the very slim waists they kind of resembled her!
I''m not familiar with this subject but interesed.
