On DVD: The Longest Yard (2005)

I'm not a big fan of sports movies. I don't even care for Adam Sandler. But I sat down and watched this with my brother-in-law yesterday regardless.

The movie is about a washed up quarterback who ends up in jail and has to create a team from the inmates to play against the prison guards. It definitely has its funny moments. There's also plenty of moments when it drags. The vast cast of characters really help the movie but not enough to overlook the dry spells.

I'd call this movie fine. It won't kill you to watch it. And if you're a red-blooded hetero male you'll love the first couple minutes with Courteney Cox-Arquette. Her bazooms are out of control and hypnotic! That's a big plus. Or should I say a pair of pluses? LOLz
