AIDS turns 25

It was in 1981 that the US government recognized the beast. At first it was considered only a gay disease and that was the reason why nothing was done for so long. But since then we have learned much much more. We have also lost many lives to this plague and there is no vaccine in sight.

Hopefully we will figure this out and eradicate HIV / AIDS so we never have another milestone like this.
