Still No Peace in the Middle East
The battle between Hezzbollah and Israel is entering it's second week with no end in sight. It looks like they are angling for a prisoner exchange. Other Arab nations are sending support for Hezzbollah. How nice.

Indonesia battered again
Days after a 7.7 earthquake caused a tsunami killing more than 530 people i Java on Monday, a 6.1 rumbled across Jakarta.

Heat Eases
The heatwave the United States has been experiencing has eased up a little. In the New York area, violent thunderstorms broke the oppressive heat last night. It should be about 20 degrees cooler today than yesterday. Many parts of the area are without power from the storm, and other areas have been without power since yesterday when power grids were overloaded.




For the "Who Cares?" Department
Kid Rock (Bob Ritchie) and Pam Anderson will be getting married on 07/29 in St. Tropez, France.
