Croc Hunter killed by wild animal

Steve Irwin, best known as the chance-taking, animal-loving, Crocodile Hunter was killed while filming a scene with a stingray. The animal suddenly jammed it's "stinger" into Irwin's chest. The ray's spike had pierced Irwin's heart and upon removal led to his demise.

Steve Irwin was 44, he's survived by his wife and two children.
