I'm borrowing this idea from Steve's Blog: Go Flying Turtle. This is a pic I took of my year and a half old dark phased Texas diamondback terrapin.
It's strange timing. Last night I was in the basement taking the shots. Then last night I had my first dream that I was able to remember in a long time. I have been suspicious that I might have some sleep disorder so I've been experimenting this week on how to breath better while in bed. I guess it worked because the quality of my sleep is better, and deeper. Deep enough for dreams that I can actually recall...

This terrible nightmare I suffered was about my older concentric phased diamondback terrapin named Dante. Stacey and I had been on vacation and found a dead and dismembered Dante in another tank with a couple other of the turtles. My parents were turtle sitting and they said that it was Snappy who had inflicted the mortal blows on Dante. But she wasn't there. My parents had, in a rage, flipped the tank over with Snappy and the gore still in it. I went over to the wreckage of my once loving 125 gallon turtle tank. I lifted a large section to find a decaying yet still living Snappy under there. At that moment I hopped out of bed in a near panic. Quickly I came to my senses and went back to sleep. What a horror that was.
