Happy Birthday Dido!

Okay, I always thought that Dido was just a singer of psuedo-elevator music or the poor man's Sarah McLachlan. It turns out she has an acting career, too. I might have known something of it if I ever watched any tube. Well, she turns 35 today, Xmas day. Happy Bday!

• Her song "Thank You" was sampled by rapper Eminem in his controversial hit single "Stan".
• Brother is Roland 'Rollo' Armstrong from the music group Faithless. Dido provided vocals on their recordings and shows.
