Provided by the compucert I left the office at 5:20 this evening. I walked through the threshold of my home at around 8:30.
8:30!!!
Three plus hours of commute that usually takes less than half of that.
This was a nightmare that the MTA has been brewing up for a while now. It seems every year the MTA decides to make some capital improvements along the number seven line that usually only screws up weekend service. This time they are ending service to Manhattan at 61st Street over the weekends and screwing up the express service all week long.
What does that boil down to? Massive delays for my commute home tonight. A commute that took me three hours from door to door.
