Here are some pics of my main tank. It's a 125 gallon tank with a welded iron stand.
So, that's 125 gallons filled about 80%, so that's about 100 gallons of water for the turtles to swim in. Currently I have five adults turtles residing within, so I'm giving them far more than the minimum that's suggested in turtling guidlines.
Lighting: 40 watt reptisun full spectrum flourescent and 75 watt incandescent flood light.
Basking: Three large floating basking areas lashed together. Easily accomodates all my turtles at once.
Heat: None, sorta. The tank never drops below 72 degrees. Perfect temperature for turtles. I imagine the lights might throw some heat.
Filtration: One Fluval 304 canister filter with enhanced materials. Needs cleaning about every 6 weeks or so.
Population:
- Red belly cooter: Randall
- Red eared slider: Snappy
- RES: Tyrannus
- Diamondback Terrapin: Dante
- Map: Jay
