Last night I left work at around 5:45. Yes, I was working on Sunday. It's tax season and I'm accountant. That's not the story. I walked from 77th Street and Lexington Avenue down to 59th Street to hop the R train back to Queens.
As I stood on the Queens-bound side of the platform, a train pulls in across the platform headed for the heart of NYC. The doors opened, and I couldn't believe what sat before my eyes...
TWO DUDES SITTING ON A COUCH!!!
ON THE TRAIN!!!
I had to do a double take. Then a triple take. Nope. It wasn't my imagination. Two guys really WERE sitting on a couch on the train, and looked perfectly comfortable. I think I would be, too, on a couch on the subway!
Damn. Only in New York!
