Wearing o' the Green!

Today is St. Patricks Day! Actually, since I'm not Irish nor a drunk I don't abuse this holiday. However, NYS puts on it's best / tackiest green garments and is Irish for the day. What that really means is that there's an excuse to get drunk and rowdy and vomit all over the city. They even ran extra train service into the city to enable the celebrants easier access. Luckily, there was a snow storm on Friday night that should keep many home. Nothing worse than the smell of rotten beer and puke all over the city the day after.

BTW: For decades the St. Patrick's Day parade was considered the most dangerous NYC event. The drunk and disorderly would always leave a trail of death and destruction. Somehow it's a happy thing now, and the Puerto Rican Day parade has been dubbed the dangerous one. Whatever.
