On DVD: Swingers (1996)

After I saw this movie, a lot of events from my life were explained while watching this movie. There's an entire language of "money" that I never truly understood. I had been exposed to it, but never understood that whole thing about it. Apparently it's like a 90's version of Smurf talk, and it was all over the place in this movie, "SWINGERS."

Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn teamed up for the first time in this movie which is essentially all about boys behaving badly. It's a comedy, but I would call it kinda clever with some key funny parts. It's just fun to observe the mentality of droves of girl hungry men swooping down upon parties in hopes of scoring.

It's fun to watch, and definitely worth a peek if you want to see a piece of the 1990's. But I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to find it. You might feel let down.
