It's hot out!

The first day of summer was last week, but it decided to really remind NYC what summer weather is all about this week. Hot on Monday. Very hot Tuesday. Unbearably hot today.

With such oppressive heat comes awful commutes. The trains are jammed packed. Yesterday they weren't even running properly. There was no #7 Express to get home on. So everyone jammed into the locals like sardines. At that capacity the air conditioners can't do their jobs. People are creating heat faster than the system can cool things down.

Tonight I think I had better install the air conditioners in the home so I can have a relaxing and cool evening. A good night's sleep wouldn't hurt either!
Thought of the day:
Can there be a worse job than being a NYC garbage collector in this sweltering heat?
